Our Story: The Heart of the Hearth
Founded by passionate baker and community enthusiast, Elara Vance, Maple Hearth Cafe & Bakehouse was born from a simple dream: to create a warm, inviting space where the aroma of freshly baked goods and the rich scent of coffee could mingle with lively conversation and shared moments. After years honing her craft in renowned patisseries, Elara envisioned a place that felt like home, a cozy corner in Toronto where everyone felt welcome.

Our journey began in 2015, with a small storefront on Yonge Street and a big heart. We started with just a few signature pastries and our beloved Maple Latte, but word quickly spread about our commitment to quality and our friendly atmosphere. The name 'Maple Hearth' reflects our Canadian roots and the warmth and comfort of a traditional hearth – the heart of any home.

Today, we remain dedicated to our original vision, constantly perfecting our recipes and expanding our offerings while staying true to the artisanal spirit that defines us. We are proud to be a gathering place where friendships are forged over coffee, birthdays are celebrated with custom cakes, and daily stresses melt away with a bite of our flaky croissants.
